This application establishes an implementation for the Digital Euro Alias Lookup Service, designed to reliably map account information to phone numbers or email addresses. Users can register their details, enabling others to retrieve account information through cryptographically signed records published in DNS for scalable, low-latency lookups.

Built using open-source and off-the-shelf components such as Rust, PostgreSQL, and DNS, this architecture demonstrates that even a \"bare-metal\" approach can meet stringent requirements without relying on expensive, complex cloud-based technologies. It ensures transparency, reliability, and scalability while minimizing monitoring and maintenance efforts.

The Lookup client is an installable application that allows you to lookup account information via phone number or email, just like on this website. In addition, it validates the signature with which the account information was stored.
